Only a few things seemed to really irk me, one of which was that rotten toe rag Shia LaBeouf. He's an alright actor he just annoys me, he has one of those annoying faces. Anyway, back to the important part. Tom Hardy is brilliant in Lawless, he manages to capture every scene he's in - he looks a little fat, but I think that might be down to his Batman role and was still trying to lose a few extra wobbly bits. Lawless is set in the prohibition era, outlaws are basically the lawmen, whatever they say goes.
Two brothers get tangled up in a web of shit when a new weird creepy lawman comes to town (Guy Richie). Lawless has some really great scenes and has a plot that kind of kept me until the end (One of the best scenes is when Shia LaBouf gets the shit kicked out of him). One of my issues, maybe my only issue was they didn't seem to utilise Gary Oldman enough, he only had a few scenes. Tom Hardy's voice was brilliant, he seems to be able to nail everything he does. Jessica Chastain is worthy of a few wanks too.
