Captain America: The First Avenger is by no means a bad movie, it has glimpses of greatness I just felt the glimpses came few and far between. On the other hand though, Chris Evans (not the ginger DJ) played Captain America brilliantly, he was believable and had wispy hair. Thumbs up to you sir. However, the story just felt a little boring and towards the second half I just felt like what am I doing? I could be having a bath surrounded by candles listening to whale noises right now. The first part though was great... the bit where he's a skinny runt who needs to eat a hamburger (or ration pack) and constantly gets picked on by some bigger bully guy (the usual cliché). Here's a quick synopsis: Skinny kid gets buff from machine. Machine dies. Everyone is sad. Skinny buff kid throws shiny shield at people & can also run a little faster than a normal person. End synopsis.
